Information about the Club

The club is very friendly and family orientated, so you can be sure of a warm welcome. Archery is the friendly sport. Everyone helps everyone else and beginners get special attention from the experienced archers to help them improve and enjoy archery.

We run social events throughout the year including a Midsummer Madness event, which in 2004 took place just before Christmas! How mad is that!

Whilst most of us shoot for the sheer fun of it, if your ambition is the Olympics, we’ll support you in that objective, and we are keen to see members in local and regional competitions. One of our juniors is the Junior Compound Champion for Staffordshire, Derbyshire and the West Midlands! One of our senior archers won a bronze medal at the Seoul Olympics in 1988
