Juniors are all members under the age of 18

The club supports the GNAS policy on the protection of children and vulnerable adults, and the Child Protection Act

The Club has additionally determined that whenever Junior Archers are shooting a parent or guardian must accompany them at all times and ensure they behave in a safe manner and do not put themselves at risk. This is also to guarantee the personal safety of all young persons at the club.

The club does not act 'in loco parentis'
Note that applications for External Junior Competitions must be signed by a parent and cannot be arranged over the phone, so please request application forms in good time.
Coaching

Parents should note that during coaching it is necessary for instructors to assist and or intervene in such a way that physical contact might be necessary. This may be for either instructional or safety reasons, and is restricted to touching of hands or arms.

Parents who wish to discuss these notes in more detail may approach any committee member.
