Where we meet

The club meets at Stafford Grammar School, Hyde Lea, Stafford, on Tuesday evenings during the winter, when we shoot indoors, and Tuesday and Thursday evenings during the summer, when we shoot outdoors. The new sports hall at the school provides an excellent “all weather” facility during the winter.

We normally shoot outdoors in May, June, July and August.  Whilst the weather would allow shooting for a longer period, our evening timing means that we are limited by the available daylight!  We always look forward to the return of outdoor shooting, but our indoor facility means that shooting is guaranteed, which is more than can be said for the weather!

A new outdoor ground had been added to our shooting venues. Our old aunt of Rodbaston College has offered us a large field suitable for outdoor competitions.
