This course is for those people who want to take up archery as a sport. You'll be coached by our experienced ArcheryGB qualified coaches over three sessions, and once you complete the course, you'll be able to apply for membership to join Stafford Archers. The minimum to attend is 12 years.

About the event
You'll attend coached sessions, which run on three Wednesday evenings, 07/05/25, 14/05/25 & 21/05/25, 6:30pm - 9:30pm, followed by two further sessions whereby you shoot along side club members. You will be advised about the club shoot times during the course.
You must be able to attend ALL sessions to complete the course.
All equipment will be supplied whilst you are doing the course, please do not bring your own. You will do plenty of shooting under the guidance of our qualified ArcheryGB coaches.
This is an indoor event at Gainsborough Works, St Patricks's Street, Stafford.
The minimum age for a beginners course is 12 years, as archery requires some attention, maturity and strength. All junior archers need to have an adult/guardian in attendance for the duration of each session.
Archery is suitable for all abilities, let us know if you require any support when you reserve your place.
